Development & Exercise Simulation
Description: The client processes and framework are based on advanced software engineering methodologies and a mix of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom tools, and use HLA federation capabilities. The project is realized in close collaboration with the client which aims the investigation of concepts and models that could apply to the current Canadian platforms, as well as possible future upgrades, in order to improve their performance against the predicted future threats.
The project objectives are to model, verify, and support the validation of the software components (digital models) of an engagement simulation aiming at studying transport aircraft electro-optical self-protection, and to support the exercise of the software components through a series of engagement simulations.
KARMA 3rd Iteration
Description: LTI designs, models, implements and tests various simulation models of varying fidelity level in a missile engagement simulation. The models are integrated to the simulation framework of the client, which is uses HLA communication and synchronization.
KARMA 2nd Iteration
Description: KARMA aims new hi-fidelity seeker models development for a simulation environment. Models were developed in C++, MATLAB & Simulink and other simulation technologies as HLA. KARMA allows scientists to develop seeker models in a mathematical language and generate C++ models automatically that can be tested into a simulation framework.
