Out of concern for technology watch, involvement and continuous improvement, LTI is a member of the following organizations:
Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI)
CADSI is the voice of Canada’s defence and security industries. The Association exists to strengthen the relationship and dialogue between government and our industries and to maximize the contribution the members can make to national defence and security. As the primary advocate for the defence and security industries, CADSI represents the interests of industry to governments, politicians, the media, special interest groups, opinion leaders, and the public. This business association represents over 800 member companies who are essential contributors to Canada’s national defence and security and generate over 10 billion dollars to the Canadian economy every year.
Simulation Interoperability Standards Organization (SISO)
SISO is an international organization dedicated to promoting interoperability and reuse in modeling and simulation. SISO organizes conferences on interoperability in simulation (Simulation Interoperability Workshops - SIW) in the United States and Europe. In addition, SISO develops and supports interoperability standards in simulation, both independently and in collaboration with other organizations. SISO is recognized as a standard development organization by NATO and as a standard sponsor by the IEEE. The standards maintained and developed by SISO include among others: DIS, HLA, RPR FOM, BOM, MSDL, C-BML, etc.
La Voix des Entrepreneurs en T.I. de Québec (VETIQ)
The VETIQ represents the interests of the entrepreneurs of the industry of information technology in the region of Quebec in order to promote their development. The VETIQ clearly articulates the industry needs and makes sure to communicate them to the economic development agencies and ministries concerned. The association collaborates to the efforts of its regional and national partners and works in the development of activities and services dedicated to the regional industry.
Chambre de commerce de Québec
Founded in 1809, the Chambre de commerce de Québec is part of the development of the Quebec region. Its mission is to act as leader and partner for sustained economic development in the region of Quebec and provide to business people services that promote networking, the improvement of their skills and the access to business opportunities.
